Kenny Milton Harris, 29, of Orangefield, died, Wednesday, January 30, 2008, in Bridge City.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Dr. Connie Alexander, pastor of Drake Memorial Presbyterian Church and Reverend Jeff Bell, chaplain with the West Orange Volunteer Fire Department.
Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2008, at the funeral home.
Born in Orange on August 7, 1978, he was the son of Larry and Lois (Rost) Harris and was a tow truck driver with Gilbeaux’s Towing.
Kenny was a member of the West Orange Volunteer Fire Department and was currently serving as Assistant Chief. He also was a member of the Hazmat Team and Drake Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Jennifer Harris; children, Jaycelyn Paige Harris and Brennen Milton Harris, all of Orangefield; parents, Larry and Lois Harris; grandparents, Lucy and Leonard Loeve; brothers, Jeff Veitch, Jr., Willis Donald Veitch and his fiancé, Jennifer, Jimmy Veitch and his wife, Lesa, Randy Veitch and his wife, Leslie, all of West Orange.
Also surviving are his aunt, Brenda Rost of Groves; uncle, Tommy Conrad of West Orange and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Rickey Gilbeaux, Chad Gilbeaux, Michael Willis, Chris Wolfford, Clay Bourdier, Michael Simon and Chris Clark.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the West Orange Volunteer Fire Department.
