Roxane Denise Tankersley, 45, lifelong resident of Orange, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2008, at her residence.
Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Dorman Family Cemetery in the McLewis Community. Officiating will be Reverend John Tarver of Miracle Resurrection Church in Orange.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Monday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Roxane was born December 18, 1962, in Orange, to Tommy Lee and Miriam Elizabeth (LaBry) Vercher, Sr.
Roxane was a loving daughter, mother and MeMaw, she was also devoted to her best friend Randy Eades who helped her through life’s journey. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Miriam LaBry Vercher.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Tankersley of Orange, her best friend Randy Eades of Orange; father and step mother Tommy and Thelma O Vercher, Sr., of Orange; daughter, Chrystal Vercher, sons, Michael Tankersley, Jr., and Tommy Lee Tankersley all of Bridge City; grandchildren, Mersady Harvey, Trenity Vercher, Alissa Tankersley, and Destiny Tankersley; sister Rebecca Vercher and brother Tommy Vercher, Jr. both of Orange and two stepsisters and one stepbrother.
