BC Parents and Counselors to meet On Tuesday, Feb. 12, the Bridge City High School Counselors will review the high school course selection process with parents of incoming 9th graders for the 2008-2009 school year.
The meeting will be held in the Bridge City High School cafeteria from 6:30 p.m.
until 7:30 p.m.
Chinese New Year celebration to be hosted To welcome the Year of the Rat, the Chinese Association of Southeast Texas will host its 16th annual New Year celebration party 6:00 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Best Value Inn Hotel, located at 2525 N. 11th Street in Beaumont.
In addition to authentic Chinese food, there will be door prizes, lucky money for children and a program of entertainment for everyone.
The cost for the event is $4.00 for children (age2-12) and $8.00 for adults.

Reunion meeting for class of 1968 There will be a reunion planning meeting for the Bridge City Class of 1968 at 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 7, at Cyndy Church Denisons home, 190 Bland #5, Bridge City.

“In Loving Memory” Support Group to meet The monthly meeting of “In Loving Memory,” a support group for mothers who have lost a child will meet at 6:00 p.m., Feb. 19, at the North Orange Baptist Church located at 4775 16th Street, Orange.
They welcome any Mother, any age, who has lost a child for any reason.

Gospel Singing scheduled New Anointing Church, located at 10681 N. Hwy 87 in Orange, will have an old fashion gospel singing at 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 29.

Lipazzaner Stallions to appear at Ford Park The World Famous Lipazzaner Stallions are scheduled to come into the Ford Park Arena Saturday, Feb. 16 for two shows.
Tickets range in price from $19.50-$26.50.
Discounts are available for children 12 and under, seniors 60 and over, and groups of 15 oor more.
There is a $2 parking fee and a $1 facility fee.
