Go Texas activities coincide with Texas Independence Day.

Head Start and Pre-kindergarten students at North Early Learning Center participated in “Go Texas” activities today. The students enjoyed various traditional Texan activities such as a covered wagon obstacle course, a horseshoe toss, a cow patty toss, a Texas bean bag toss, story-telling, steer roping, stick horse races, and more. “Go Texas” activities are held at the beginning of March annually at North Early Learning Center. The event culminates a unit on Texas History that coincides with Texas Independence Day.
