Bubble-ologists at Lamar State College Orange

Orange County teachers participated in a Training for Educators, Administrators and Mentors Program at Lamar State College – Orange sponsored by the Education Division. T.E.A.M. involves Orange County schools districts who have partnered with Lamar State College – Orange to train and mentor novice teachers.

The “Kids Just Wanna’ Have Fun” workshop was held May 7, 2008 at the Wilson Building on the LSC-O campus.

Bubble-ologists, in the form of teachers, used bubbles to design instructional activities for differentiating instruction with their students. The project can be used with a variety of subjects and grade levels. The workshop instructors were Dorraine Babcock and Julie Camara. Lamar State College – Orange Education Division Director is Brenda Mott.

Some of the novice teachers included (L-R) Jessi Rojas, Chris Cunningham, Jennifer Trahan, Christy Greer, Melissa Riley, Vicki Holland and Sherri Manke.
