John Fetchin

Orange John Fetchin, 88 died May 3, 2008, in Orange,Texas.

Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery in Pasadena.

A memorial service will be held at a future date.

He was born in Portage, Pa.

and grew up in nearby Monaca.

After graduating from college in Indiana, he had a long career as a chemical engineer with Phillips Petroleum in Borger, Texas, Bartlesville, Okla.

and Pasadena, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Maxine; his son, John Mark Fetchin; daughter, Major Kathryn Forrester, eight brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann Willey and her husband Sam, of Orange; daughter-in-law, Milly Fetchin of Hollister, Mo.; granddaughter, Jenny Reitmeyer and husband Ryan of Houston; great-grandson William Forrester Reitmeyer; and sister, Margaret Hoover of Uniontown, Ohio.
