Bobby E. “Bob” Cronk

Bobby E. “Bob” Cronk, 66, of Orange, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2008, at Memorial Herman Baptist Hospital in Houston.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 16, 2008, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, with the Reverend J. B. Prouse, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.

Bob was born August 18, 1941, in Polk County, TX, to John L. and Rosa L. (Goodman) Cronk.

Bob was active in the US Marine Corp., during 1960-1964.

He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church and of the SETX Senior Golf Organization.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Harry G. Cronk, John Henry Cronk and Carl Cronk.

He is survived by his wife, Frankie Cronk, daughters, Cynthia Viator and husband, Rodney, of New Iberia, La and Melissa Cronk of Irving, Tx; five grandchildren; brother and sister, James B. Cronk of Orange and Verna M. Heironymus of Waverly, Ne.

Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons and friends, Bobby Theriot, Brandon Cronk, Jarek Viator, Taylor Baran, Rodney Viator and Gene Hollenshield.

Honorary pallbearer will be Heidi Theriot.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 401 N. 37th St., Orange, Tx, 77630.
