WO-S Choir State Medalists

Fifteen WO-S High School choir students earned medals at the Texas State Solo and Ensemble contest held at the end of May at Texas State University in San Marcos.

Winning gold medals were Roland “Chase” Champine, Jardon O’Neal, Laramie Phillips, Rashondria Sibley, Asiane Venkatesan, and Brittany Villadsen.

Silver medalists were Breanna Alexander, Kiersten Chambers, Jazymin Childress, Stephen Cook, Selena Jenkins, Anthony Lewis, Derek Lewis, Megan Phares, and Justin Sparrow.

Ruth Houston is the WO-S High School Choir Director. She is assisted by Angela Greer. Brenda Lee is the accompanist.
