Trudy Roblow Duhon, 70, Orange, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2008 after a five year battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 3 at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Orangefield. Officiating will be Reverend Tom Phelan.
Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Texas.
Visitation will be at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, with a rosary immediately following.
Trudy was born in Neighborton, LA on July 6, 1937 and moved to Beaumont with her family as a child. She was a 1955 graduate of French High school and married the kid across the street, Morris Duhon. They celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on June 23rd. Trudy and Morris lived in Beaumont until 1976 and then relocated to Orange where she was currently residing. She loved to fish, ravel and most of all she liked to shop with her sisters and granddaughters. She also cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren and family. Trudy was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to all.
She is preceded in death by her parents Willie and Mary Lou Roblow, and a sister, Willie Andress.
Trudy is survived by her loving husband, Morris Duhon; two daughters, Paula and Doug McCain of Lake Charles, LA, and Jaliene and Ricky Glaze of Orange; five grandchildren Mason and Monique McCain of Lake Charles and Haley, Todd and Derek Glaze of Orange.
Also surviving her are sisters, Shirley Robbins and husband James, Pauline Tanner and brother, Ted Roblow, all of Beaumont; nieces, Cindy Carpenter of Beaumont and Jan Sims of Frisco, TX as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Al Rabb, Bill Robbins, Doug McCain, Mason McCain, Ricky Glaze, Derek Glaze and Todd Glaze.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mamie McFaddin Ward Cancer Institute or a charity of your choice.
