Walter Lewis Potter

Walter Lewis Potter, 61, of Fort Worth, formerly of Orange, passed away, Wednesday, July 9, 2008, in Kindred Hospital in Fort Worth. A Mass of Christian Burial was July 12 in St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange. The Rev. Joseph P. Daleo officiated. Interment was in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Born Feb. 14, 1947, to Samuel Raymond and Dorothy Ada (Stewart) Potter, he was preceded in death by his parents and sister Jeanette Potter Cunningham. He is survived by his wife, Mary Verrett Potter; sons, Brian Lewis Potter, Daniel Raymond Potter, both of Fort Worth and Steven Joseph Potter of Arlington, Texas; and brothers Raymond Potter of Washington, Marvin Potter of Orange, Joe Potter of LaFayette, La.,  and Allen Potter of Orange.
