In Orangefield the Bobcats are re-grouping and are looking to Buna to pick up a win this week after dropping their season opener 26-7 to East Chambers.
Opening night jitters and the onset of Hurricane Gustav seemed to plague Orangefield who failed to get their offense up and running. While the Buccaneers broke loose for large gains against the Bobcat defense.
Down 14-0 going into the second half Orangefield took advantage of an East Chambers fumble on the 23-yard line. Bobcat running back Zach Peevey kept the drive alive on a fourth and one dive. Bobcat quarterback Jace Statum found receiver Derek Evans for a first and goal. Steven Stone punched it in for Orangefield lone TD.
Orangefield will host Buna for game two at F.L. McClain Stadium, Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
