Martha Estelle Melancon

Martha Estelle Melancon, 75, of Bridge City, passed away Monday, March 23, 2009, in her residence.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday from Dorman Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, with the Rev. Keith Royal officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in Granger Cemetery in Vidor.

Mrs. Melancon was preceded in death by her husband, J. G. Melancon.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Ramona and David Murphy; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Teresa Melancon; sons, Darrell Melancon and Bruce Melancon all of Bridge City; sisters, Margie Hoyt of Arkansas and Mary Johnnie of Bridge City; brother, Paul Lyons of Arkansas; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
