John Thomas Frazier Jr.

Orange John Thomas Frazier Jr., 87, of Orange, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009 at his residence. Graveside services  were Tuesday, April 14 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City with the Rev. Bobby Spross, officiating.

Born on Nov. 26, 1921 in Orange to John Thomas Frazier and Annie (Holmes) Frazier, he was a lifelong resident of the Orange area and was of the Baptist faith. Frazier worked as an operator for the Gulf Oil Refinery in Port Arthur, was a veteran of the United States Navy during World War II and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Frazier often enjoyed sitting on his back porch being in the outdoors watching the birds and the squirrels.

Preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Alex, Ira and Lee Frazier; sister, Sallie Frazier; and his daughter, Marsha Jaylene Scott.

Those who will most cherish his memory are his wife of 66 years, Juanita J. Frazier of Orange; daughters, Ann Lynch and her husband Reeves of Orange and Pamela Thibodeaux of Orange; sister, Nettie Jones and husband Jack of Kirbyville; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
