Mother’s Day Out / preschool registration North Orange Baptist Church is registering children for the summer and fall sessions of its Mother’s Day Out and preschool programs.
Classes begin June 9 for the summer session. The fall session begins Sept. 8 and continues throughout the school year from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays / Thursdays. Children 9 months through Pre-K age are accepted.
The preschool program offers curriculum for the 2- through 5-year-old classes with complete readiness for kindergarten and an end-of-year graduation program for those leaving to attend kindergarten. Activities include curriculum work, socialization, field trips, music class, arts and craft, Bible stories, prayer time, gym glass, playground time, story hour and physical fitness; using the “Wee Learn” curriculum from Lifeway Christian Resources and part from several other curriculums.

Rummage sale A rummage sale to benefit Faith United Methodist Church will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 1-2 at the corner of Park Avenue and 14th Street. Proceeds will benefit the building fund, earmarked for a new church campus on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
Members are presently worshiping in the Little Cypress Intermediate School on Allie Payne Road in the Little Cypress area. Guests are welcome. Sunday school services are at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 10:50.
Spring festival A silent auction, bake sale, plant sale, arts and crafts and food booths will highlight First United Methodist Church’s spring festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Praise Center, 502 N. Sixth St. Admission is free. Lunch tickets are $10 and must be purchased in advance by calling the church office, 886-7466.
Revival The Cheery Family will highlight a revival at MacArthur Heights Baptist Church, 3600 Nightingale St., at 10:50 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, and 7 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday. Features include Bible study and luncheon.

St. Mary enrollment St. Mary Catholic School, 2600 Bob Hall Road, is enrolling for Pre-K three- through eighth-grade classes. The curriculum includes religion, Kumon math, fine arts / literature, Shurley grammar, computer technology and foreign language.
