Orange native interns in state legislature

Ms. Natalie Fontenot, a Luna Fellow and Orange native, is shown with Sen. Eddie Lucio Jr. immediately after he passed a bill in the Texas Senate. The bill covered improving water and wastewater services for economically distressed residents. Fontenot had researched and prepared the bill as part of her internship duties. She was assigned this 81st Legislative Session to the International Relations and Trade Committee Lucio chairs.
