First AG to host Fall Festival Halloween night join First Assembly of God in Bridge City for their Fall Festival.  There will be a costume contest, moonwalk, super slide, obstacle course, games, prizes, food, and tons of candy.

All kids ages 12 and under are welcome.

The Fall Festival will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.

on Saturday, Oct. 31 at First Assembly of God, 201 Roberts Ave. (turn off Texas Ave. at Subway).

There will be live music, karaoke, games and crafts, chili dogs, popcorn and candy, hay ride, super slide, moon walk, cake walk and door prizes.

The church is located between K-Dan’s and Orangefield High School on Farm Road 105.

BCCC hosts Tunk or Treat at Walmart Bridge City Chamber of Commerce will host Trunk or Treat on Halloween night at Walmart’s parking lot.

The Trunk or Treating will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

To participate, drive your car, van, SUV, or any other mode of transportation to Walmart and set up the candy in the trunk or tailgate of your vehicle.

You can decorate your vehicle in the Halloween theme, if you like.

Fall Fest /Trunk or treat St. Paul United Methodist Church will hold their Fall Fest, 3 p.m.

– 5 p.m., Oct. 31 at the church located on Roundbunch Road in Bridge City.

Activities planned are a cake walk, big bounce, games, candyand more.

They invite the public to join them for a safe Trick or Treating experience.

Canned food donations are requested to help out neighbors in the community.

Scary Walk in the Woods Halloween night is a great time for a spooky walk in the woods behind St. Mark Lutheran Church, located at 945 West Roundbunch Road.

Come 6:30-8:30 p.m., Saturday for hot dogs and snacks, games and a walk in the woods if you dare.

Trunk or treat and yard sale Salem United Methodist Church will be hosting a yard sale at 7 a.m., Saturday and Trunk-A-Treat at 6 p.m.,Saturday night.

All children are invited to attend.

Cowboy Church hosts Truck or Treat Cowboy Church of Orange County will hold its second annual Truck or Treat 6-8 p.m., Saturday at their new location 673 FM 1078.

(Turn off Texas 62 on to Farm Road 1078, cross railroad tracks, round the curve and look to the left.) Free hot dogs, lemonade, bonfire and hay ride.

Your Invited to Trunk or Treat Little Cypress Baptist Church in Orange will host Trunk or Treat 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., Saturday in the parking lot at 3274 Little Cypress Drive.

They offer food, carnival games, inflatables and more.

Cash for candy Dr.

Mark Messer of Advanced Dental in Bridge City is joining over 1200 dentist across the country redefining the phrase “putting your money where your mouth is.” Halloween trick-or-treaters are urged to bring their excess candy to Advanced Dental this Sunday from 2-4 p.m.

“Ditch the candy, that’s what we’re saying,” said Messer.

“Visiting your dentist twice a year and brushing daily are great preventative measures, but doing away with excess sweets altogether would really give your teeth a healthy boost.” Children that turn in candy will also receive electric glowing toothbrushes.

“These glowing brushes we’re giving out are really cool-they’re like light sabers for your mouth,” he said.

The candy must be unopened with no bites.

It will be shipped overseas to troops.

According to Messer’s office, troops distribute the candy to kids overseas, who in turn, show soldiers where bombs are located.
