New design, old friends

McDonald’s unveiled a brand new design/state-of-the-art restaurant with a ribbon-cutting/grand re-opening.

Mayor Kirk Roccaforte helped owner Brian Ellis cut the ribbon to welcome customers back for the first day of business since Hurricane Ike struck in September, 2008.

The restaurant at 755 Texas Ave. is adjacent to the Walmart parking lot.
