CCS students 'official' for a day

Recently, at the City of Orange Citizenship Day, the city invited local students to participate in city government.

Community Christian School sent Jonathan Breaux, eighth grade, who took over for Les Anderson’s position in Road and Bridge; Marissa Gray, seventh grade, represented Keith Merritt, Orange County Sheriff; Faithe Davis, ninth grade, served as Vergie Mooreland, Treasurer; and Amy Hanks, tenth grade, took over from Lynda Gunstream as the Tax Assessor/Collector.

It gives the students the opportunity to see firsthand how the city is run.
