Brenda Fay Bullock, 49, of Orange, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 5 at her residence.

A gathering of family and friends to honor her life will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7 in the home of Brenda’s sister, located at 3605 Lawnoak Drive in Orange.

Brenda was born on Jan. 17, 1961 in Lake Charles to her parents, David Lee Thibodeaux and Ella M. (Simon Thibodeaux) Collins.

Brenda worked as a security officer for the Port of Orange.

She is preceded in death by her father and those who will most cherish her memory are her husband, Howard Bullock; her mother, Ella Collins; her daughters, Kristi Metz and Amy Smith; her sister, Carolyn Kirbow; her brothers, Gary Thibodeaux, Joe Almaguer and Philip Almaguer and her five grandchildren, Hunter, Ella, Anasty, Hannah and Lily.

Arrangements to the family are under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange.
