James E. Devilbliss, 88, of Vidor died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010 at Hermann Memorial Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 8 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct 7 at Memorial Funeral Home.

A native of Bradford, Ohio, he lived in Vidor for seven years, and was a retired boilermaker. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII.

James was preceded in death by his daughter Maria Lana Long. He is survived by his special friend Faye Willis of Vidor; sisters Frances King and Larena King both of Miamisburg, Ohio; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
