Betty L. Duhon, 84, of Orange died Wednesday, October 6 at her home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be the Rev. Keith Royal of Winfree Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
Born in Port Arthur on Aug. 10, 1926, Betty was the daughter of Orelia Delahoussaye and Joseph Rodrigue.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl E. Duhon; brother, Carroll Rodrigue; and sisters, Bessie Rodrigue and Bobbi Nolen.
Betty is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Linda Duhon of Irving, Robert and Kay Duhon of Bridge City, Matt and Kim Duhon of Kirbyville, Andy and Stasha Duhon of Prosper; daughter, Lisa Duhon-Kyler and her husband, Alex of Orange; 12 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Betty Rodrigue; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Kenneth Tomlin, Mary Louise and Louis Hebert; and sister-in-law, Annette Rodrigue.
Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Duhon, Jr., Michael Duhon, Paul Moberg, Jr., David Joseph Duhon, Blake Bryan, and Rob Nugent. Honorary pallbearers will be T.J. Adams, Josh Bryan, Kegan Roy, Scott Snipes, and Randy Nugent.
