Rose De Leon, 89, of West Orange, died Saturday, Oct. 23 at her home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Joseph Daleo. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 26 at the funeral home, with a Rosary to be held at 7 p.m.
Born in Woodsboro, Texas on July 1, 1921, Rose was the daughter of Matiana and Rosendo Perez. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange.
Preceded in death by her husband, Manuel G. De Leon, Rose is survived by her daughters, Evila "Billie" Trahan and Dolly Gauthier, both of Orange; sons, Manuel P. De Leon and Judy of Orange, Phillip De Leon and his wife, Holly of Austin; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be James Kyle Trahan, Jr., James Kevin Trahan, David Welch, Dave De Leon, Michael De Leon, and Robbie Rider.
