Austin Cheyenne Diaz, 61, of Orange passed away on Dec. 16 at her resident.

The family will have a Memorial Service after New Year. Cremation will be held under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home.

She was a native and life long residence of Orange; formerly known as Barbara Ann Cormier born to parents Jack Cormier and Josephine Smith. She was a member of the Cowboy Church. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be missed dearly by all.

Preceded in death by her mother and brothers, Jerry Cormier and Gary Cormier

Those who will most cherish her memory are her father, Jack Cormier of Vidor; daughters, Kathy Welch of Orange, Angie Morgan of Groves, Gail Prettyman of Mauriceville, Logan Belair of Clear Lake, Texas; son, George Ferguson III of Bridge City; sisters, Mary Girouard of Orange, Peggy Prejean of Lumberton; brothers, Jackie Cormier of Orangefield, Roger Cormier of Orange.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jacob Noland, Jessica Noland, Jessy Noland, Jenna Noland, Justin Noland, CJ McCray, Taylor McCray, Brooke McCray, Kaylie McCray, Zadie Morgan, Haelie Morgan, Baylie Ferguson, Bishop Tumlinson, Chloe Prettymen, Joshua Prettymen, and Allison Ferguson; great grandchildren, Adrianna Noland, Kynslee Noland, and Jayden Noland.
