Lillie Pearl Persons

Lillie Pearl Persons, 79, of Vidor, died Monday, December 20, 2010, at Village Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lumberton. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 23, at Broussard's in Beaumont, 2000 McFaddin, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard's. A gathering of her family and friends will be on Thursday one hour prior to her service at Broussard's.

A lifelong resident of Beaumont, Lillie was born February 16, 1931, to Lillie Francis and Jesse Barlow.

Survivors include her children, John Persons of Beaumont, Melissa G. Nett and her husband George W. Nett, III of Orange, David Glenn Persons, Carol Lyn Persons, and Sarah Kaye Persons all of Vidor; grandchildren, Tracy L. Strother and her husband Donald of Vidor, Misty A. Fontenot and her husband Doug of Lafayette, Louisiana, Jaclyn M. Lee and her husband Herman, Valerie S. Algor, and Dakota J. Algor all of Vidor, John Persons, Jr., and Jeffrey Scott Persons; great grandchildren, Logan D. Mitchell, Levi C. Strother, and Lillie Fay Lee all of Vidor.

Lillie is preceded in death by her husband, Guy Persons; and three children, Cynthia Ann Persons, Jeffrey M. Persons, and James G. Persons.
