Mary E. DeLoach Emmons, 88, of Orange, died Thursday, March 31, at Pinehurst Nursing and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange with the Rev. Jeff Bell, and the Rev. T.J. Bordelon, officiating.

Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.

Born in Beaumont, on Dec. 26, 1922, Mary was the daughter of Joseph William David and Suzanne (Theriot) David. She was a longtime member of Cove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Homer DeLoach and Leon Emmons; sisters, Bertie LeBleu and Myrtis Falgout; and brothers, Elmer David and Billy David.

Mary is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Kirby Read of Bridge City, Judy and Ronnie Toney of Orange; son and daughter-in-law, Rusty (James) and Annette DeLoach of Orange; and step-son, Homer DeLoach of Port O’Connor.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jimmy Shiyou, Jr., Tonya Toney, Korey Read, Kimberly DeLoach; step-grandsons, Shon Craig and Doug Craig; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Alyssa Shiyou; sisters, Ethel LeBleu and Elvern Bell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Rusty DeLoach, Kirby Read, Jimmy Shiyou, Jr ., Tyler Shiyou, Ronnie Toney and Korey Read.
