Hometown News For Orange County, Texas
UPDATE:
Apparently there was only one victim with a gunshot wound in yesterday’s shooting at a home on Connolly Rd. in Vidor. According to Sgt. Chad Hogan with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the second victim received a head injury that appeared to be caused by a blunt object.
Hogan stated that initial calls to the OCSO said there were two victims with gunshots. Both victims are reported to be in good condition.
Hogan said a disturbance occurred Wednesday at the residence and it involved somebody’s girlfriend.
A man left the residence and returned the next day to apparently finish off what had started the day before, which ended with the man being shot in the shoulder, according to Sgt. Hogan.
Several people were at the residence at the time and authorities continue to interview witnesses.
