Beer, cigarettes stolen in break-in

A convenience store in the 1500 block of 37 th St. was the target of robbers Wednesday.

Officer Marcus Bernard with the Orange Police Dept., responded to the call and observed the front door of the Super Food Mart to be shattered.

After police secured the building, the store clerk arrived on the scene. The clerk informed Officer Bernard that various brands of cigarettes and beer were missing.

The estimated value of the missing items are believed to be approximately $300, with the value of the door to be approximately $1000.

No surveillance video was available and there were no known suspects at the time.

The clerk said charges would be pursued if a suspect was found.
