The Pinehurst Police Department responded to the following calls between Feb. 1, and Feb. 17:
Wednesday, Feb. 1, Officer M. Dempsey was dispatched to the Orange County Parole Office located at 851 Dal Sasso Drive in reference to serving a parole warrant. Eldon W. Montgomery, a 37 year old white male was arrested for an outstanding parole warrant. He was transported to the Orange County Jail.
Thursday, Feb. 2, Officer M. Dempsey was dispatched to the Orange County Parole Office located at 851 Dal Sasso Drive in reference to serving a parole warrant. Leo Erwin, a 68 year old white male was arrested for an outstanding parole warrant. He was transported to the Orange County Jail.
Monday, Feb. 6, Officer R. Strause conducted a traffic stop in the 3800 block of Strickland Drive. The driver, 33 year old Arcadian Judge was subsequently placed under arrest for two outstanding warrants issued by the West Orange Municipal Court. He was transported to the Orange County Jail.
Monday, Feb. 6, Officer R. Strause responded to a private property accident that occurred in a private drive in the 100 block of Strickland Drive.
Monday, Feb. 6, Officer B. Foley conducted a traffic stop in the 3500 block of Pheasant Drive. The driver, James Edward Benard, a 19 year old black male, was arrested for three outstanding traffic warrants issued by the Vidor Municipal Court. He was transported to the Orange County Jail.
Monday, Feb. 6, Officer R. Strause conducted a traffic stop in the 3800 block of Strickland Drive. The driver, Arcadian R. Judge, a 33 year old black male was subsequently placed under arrest for outstanding warrants issued by the West Orange Municipal Court.
Wednesday, Feb. 8, Officer D. Robnett was dispatched to a retail store in the 1500 block of Strickland in reference to a theft. The suspect, who had fled the area on foot was located and issued a criminal trespass warning by the store manager.
Thursday, Feb. 9, Officer R. Strause responded to the Orange Parole Office located at 851 Dal Sasso Drive in reference to warrant service. Eddie Kelvin Shaw, a 40 year old white male was placed under arrest for an outstanding parole warrant and transported to the Orange County Jail.
Friday, Feb. 10, a utility trailer was reported stolen at an apartment complex in the 3000 block of MacArthur Drive. The trailer was valued at over $900.00.
Friday, Feb. 10, Officer B. Foley responded to the West Orange Stark Elementary school on MLK Drive in reference to a possible possession of marihuana. A juvenile was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sunday, Feb. 12, Officer B. Foley responded to the 2400 block of MLK Drive in reference to a vehicle accident.
Sunday, Feb. 12, Officer R. Strause responded to an apartment complex in the 3000 block of MacArthur Drive in reference to a residential burglary.
Monday, Feb. 13, Officer L. Roff conducted a traffic stop in the 3000 block of W. Park. The driver, Joseph B. Bertrand, a 47 year old white male was subsequently placed under arrest for outstanding traffic warrants issued by the Pinehurst Municipal Court and Justice of the Peace Precinct 2.
Monday, Feb. 13, Officer L. Roff responded to the Orange Parole Office located at 851 Dal Sasso Drive in reference to warrant service. Clifton Locks, a 27 year old black male was arrested for an outstanding parole warrant and transported to the Orange County Jail.
Monday, Feb. 13, Officer J. Payne responded to the Orange Parole Office, located at 851 Dal Sasso Drive in reference to warrant service. Jimmie Don Wilson, a 56 year old black male was arrested for an outstanding parole warrant and transported to the Orange County Jail.
Thursday, Feb. 16, Officer L. Roff responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of 29th Street and W. Park. No injuries were reported.
Friday, Feb. 17, at approximately 9:00 p.m. Officer R. Strause responded to the 3400 block of Lark in reference to a vehicle parked in the roadway without the headlamps activated. Upon making contact with the driver, Jason Scott Arceneaux, a 33 year old white male, was found to be in possession of a handgun. He was arrested for unlawfully carrying a weapon and two unrelated warrants issued by Justice of the Peace Pct. 2 Derry Dunn. The passenger, Jessica Leann McDonald, a 32 year old white female was placed under arrest for possession of marihuana. Officers of the West Orange Police Department assisted on the traffic stop.
