Terry “T.G.” Granger

Visitation for Terry “T.G.” Granger, 52, of Lufkin, will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 15, at 2:00 p.m. in the Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City. Officiating will be the Rev. George Kidangen pastor of St. Helen Catholic Church in Orangefield.

Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory. Following cremation, interment of remains will be held at a later date at the Granger Cemetery in Duncan Woods, Orangefield.

Mr. Granger was born July 22, 1959 in Port Arthur, to Margie (Hartsfield) and Joseph James Wade Granger, and died Monday, March 12, in a local hospital. A former resident of Orangefield, he had resided in Lufkin for 25 years. Mr. Granger was the Maintenance Supervisor at the Commonwealth Apartments.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Granger of Lufkin; sons, Tommy Granger of Nacogdoches and Trey Granger of Lufkin; stepdaughter, Tonya Manning of Zavalla; stepson, Jeremy Manning of Nacogdoches; grandchildren, Alarah Granger, Wyatt Flournoy, Ember Godbold, and Milo Godbold.

Other survivors include, mother, Margie McMullen of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Tony Quebodeaux of Orangefield; brothers and sisters-in-law, Timothy and Kay Granger, Dennis and Arlene Granger, all of Orangefield, Greg Granger of Zavalla and Daryl and Stephanie Granger of Orangefield; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wade Granger.
