Congressman Brady comes to Orange

Congressman Kevin Brady was in Orange Friday as part of five town hall meetings with a theme of “Stop the Tax Hikes.” During his presentation he said although he will no longer be the congressman to represent the area because the congressional lines have been re-drawn, he wants to be the “plus one” to still help out.

He also talked about upcoming new tax hikes and automatic spending cuts to defense. He stressed how the November election is key to keeping the cuts within reason or avoided all together.

He ended with saying he works for the people and he has enjoyed his time in Orange County. RECORD PHOTO: Debby Schamber
