Anna Lee Richard Garza

Anna Lee Richard Garza, 78, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 29, at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Orange.

Mrs. Garza was a native of Leonville, a former resident of Orange, having currently residing in Opelousas.

Survivors include one son, Roger Dale LaGrange of Opelousas; two daughters, Marla Kay Stelly and her husband, Douglas, of Baton Rouge and Johanna Lynn Garza-Williams of Opelousas; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Garza; her parents, Cleophus Richard and the former, Virginia Guidroz; two brothers, Clifford Jack Richard and Herman Richard; and three sisters, Elvia Richard, Elba Richard and Virgie Sanchez.

Arrangements were held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
