OHS announces UIL results

Orangefield High School UIL students participated in the Sabine Pass Invitational UIL meet on Saturday, March 2. The following students placed in their events:

Computer Applications - fourth place, Kristen Blanke, and sixth place, Kimanh Tsan

Current Issues and Events - first place, Gage Counts; fifth place, Casey Smith; second place team, Gage Counts, Casey Smith, Kirby Clayton and Kaleb Longron

Spelling and vocabulary - fourth place, Kimanh Tsan; fifth place, Than Tsan; second place team, Kimanh Tsan, Than Tsan, Sage Granger and Shelby Williams

Feature writing - fourth place, Jamie Beaulieu

News Writing - third place, Carrie Grace Henderson; sixth place, Kirsten Wolfford

Editorial Writing - fifth place, Marianna LaChance
