Orange woman killed in accident

A 28 year old Orange woman was killed in a single vehicle accident, Friday, Dec. 27. Orange police, along with Acadian Ambulance Service, and Orange Fire Dept. first responders arrived on the scene of the accident in the 6300 block of S. Lutcher, at about 11:39 pm. The sedan, which was driven by Jessica Evans, had extensive damage. Judge Janice Menard pronounced Evans deceased at the scene.

An investigation into the accident is on-going by OPD.
