Kenneth Lawrence “ Tee Boo “ Henry, Sr., 69, of Vidor, passed away Friday, Sept. 26, at his home.
Born Feb. 17, 1945 in Orange, to Raymond Henry and Madie ( McCary) Henry, he was a lifelong resident of Southeast Texas. He was of the Baptist faith and a Minister. Kenneth enjoyed spending time on the water, taking care of his plants and going out with his family.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Henry; brother, Ray Langham; brother in law, Buster Wolfford and his granddaughter, Storey Brooke Woodside.
Those who will most cherish his memory are his daughters, Cherry Middleton and husband, Raymond of Vidor and Charlotte Wolfford and husband, Eric of Mauriceville; sons, Sam Henry, and Kenny Henry and wife, Helena, and Tony Henry, all of Vidor; brother, Jimmy Henry and wife, Glenda of Orange; aunt, who was also a mother figure, Mae Cole of Mauriceville; grandchildren, Trey Henry, Justin Henry, Kris Henry, Stormy Henry, Josh Henry and fiancée, Alisha Serrette, Torey Henry, Anthony Henry, Johnny Henry, Stone Henry and Brianna Jackson, and his great grandson, Abel Henry. Kenneth is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Services to honor Kenneth’s life will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, Sept. 30, in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange, with the Rev. Jeff Bell, officiating. Rite of committal and interment will follow services in the Jett Cemetery in Orange.
A gathering of Kenneth’s family and friends will be from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
Honoring Kenneth as pallbearers are Josh Henry, Trey Henry, Kris Henry, Kevin Henry, Anthony Henry, Mark Woodside, Michael Cherry and Justin Henry.
