Wait for Bisson is over

Steve Bisson, the Bridge City man who has been waiting for a liver transplant, is currently in surgery at a Houston hospital receiving a new liver.

Bisson, 55, has been on the waiting list for people who can't wait for several months, and according to his wife Debbie, he doesn't have to wait any longer. The Record Newspapers will be in contact with Debbie as the surgery progresses.
