Danny Mathews

The Celebration of Life for Mr. Danny Kirk Mathews, 63, of Orange, will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. during memorial services at Sparrow Funeral Home.

He died Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Orange Villa Nursing Home.

A native of Beaumont, he lived in Orange most of his life, attended Texas Southern University and was a member of the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by daughter, Jessica Franks of Orange; mother, Ida B. Mathews of Orange; brother, Timothy Mathews of Dallas; three sisters, Sally Davis of Dallas, Joyce Helm and Ida Annette Collins , both of Orange, and three grandchildren.
