Keith Slaughter, 60, of Orange, passed away Nov. 15, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
A graveside service will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, Nov. 19, at Autumn Oaks Cemetery in Orange. Officiating will be his nephew Wesley Smith. Visitation will be at 5:00 pm, Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Wichita Falls, on Nov. 12, 1954, he was the son of Albert Martin Slaughter and Margaret Elizabeth (Francisco) Slaughter. Keith worked as a truck driver for Montgomery Tank Lines. He was raised in Graham, and graduated from Graham High School in 1973. Keith enjoyed fishing, mowing grass, and working on old cars. He loved to spoil his three dogs, Lily, D. J., and Gracie.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Margaret Slaughter; daughter, Mandy Slaughter; and his mother and father-in-law, Choyce and Jacque Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Brenda Slaughter; son, Mike Slaughter of Orange; grandchildren, Nicole Slaughter and Meri Menard; great-granddaughter, Sophie Luckey; sister and brother-in-laws, Nancy and husband, Roland Champagne, Paula Hodge, Sandra and husband, David Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews.
