Mary Paul

Mary Agnes Paul, 77, of Orange passed away Saturday, Nov. 15, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Mary was born on March 24, 1937 in Gadeaux, La., to Euphrazie (Meaux) and Joe Bertrand. She had lived in the Orange area for 55 plus years and had lived prior in Lake Charles. She had work many years at Sunshine Acres in Lake Charles. She enjoyed going dancing, working in her garden and spending to with her family and friends. Mary was a loving mother, aunt, sister, grandmother and friend who will be miss dearly by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Earl Paul; sister, Anna May Trahan; brothers, Eugene Bertrand, Emery Bertrand, Leslie Bertrand, Euel Bertrand, T Joe Bertrand and Lovelace Bertrand.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Whitney and husband, Donny of Orange; sons, Brain Paul of Orange, Brett Paul of Orange; grandchildren, Gary, Jessica, Kelley, Haley, Malcolm, Gage, Shelby, Luke, Noah, Trey, Mason, Taylor; great grandchildren, Madison, Breyton and one on the way. She is also survived by her sisters, Jane Newman of Lake Charles, Rose Jagneaux of Beaumont and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 21, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Dorman Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 22, at 2:00 pm at the funeral home, with the Rev. Chad Kidobeaux officiating. Burial will follow at Wilkinson Cemetery in Orange.
