The West Orange – Cove Education Foundation was pleased to accept an Invista donation at a recent meeting of the WOCCISD Board of Trustees.
“Investments in education come in many forms,” said Amber McDonald, Human Resource Manager. “INVISTA could not be more pleased than to contribute $10,000 to the West Orange-Cove Consolidated School District Education Foundation in support of innovative teaching and learning opportunities for teachers and students in our school district, particularly in the areas of in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.”
Krispen Walker, Education Foundation president, accepted the check.
“We are thrilled by Invista’s very generous donation to the Foundation. We greatly appreciate their partnership in providing funds which will ultimately go to the educators in our district so that they can provide additional outstanding learning opportunities for the children of our community,” Walker said.
The WOCCISD Education Foundation is a not for profit organization. During the past four years, the Foundation has awarded over $89,000 to classroom teachers in WOCCISD schools.
