LCM journalists compete, win in meet

The LCM UIL Journalism team recently competed at the Hampshire-Fannett practice meet Jan. 9.

Senior Izzy Echartea placed first in Feature Writing and junior Sydney Pierce placed sixth in Feature Writing. The team will next compete at the Nederland meet on January 24. The team is coached by Lindsey Fruge.
