Cecelia Woodrow

The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Cecelia Woodrow, 81, of Orange will be Saturday, Jan. 17, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church. Rites of Christian Burial will follow in Magnolia Memorial Gardens under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the church.

She died Thursday, Jan. 15, at Baptist Beaumont Hospital.

A native of Opelousas, LA, she resided in Orange some 68 years. During working years she was a self-employed beautician. She was a member of the Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church and also the Top Ladies of Distinction.

She is survived by two sons, Dr. George Woodrow, Jr. of Dallas and Deacon James Kent Woodrow of Orange; one sister, Rosie Lee Johnson of Orange; nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
