WOS Stallions takes on Orangefield

The Stallions hosted Orangefield and finished the night 2-0.

The 7th grade team came out strong and won 29-13.

Wilbert Ned lead the team scoring 8 with Ja'Veen Wood and Keontae Strother each adding 7.

The 8th grade team held the lead for the first 3 quarters, but a tough Bobcat team fought their way back in the 4th and tied the game hitting a 3 pointer with less then a minute to go.

With only seconds left on the clock, Damioun Apodaca hit a mid range jumper at the buzzer to seal the victory for the Stallions.

Justin Sibley and Jalen Jefferson lead the scoring attack with 5 points each.

The Stallions will travel to Hardin Jefferson next Thursday and then play in the St. Anthony's tournament Friday and Saturday.
