Sunday, Jan. 25, Trinity Baptist Church of Orange will be honored to host concert Pianist/Vocalist, Wade Daniel at the 11:00 A.M. service. Mr. Daniel is the Minister of Music at First Baptist Church of Bartlesville, OK, a vocal member of the Grammy and Dove Nominated “CenturyMen Choir,” and an accomplished pianist, having accompanied the “Singing Men of South East Texas” for 17 years and the CenturyMen choir on tour both nationally and internationally.
Wade has performed in hundreds of concerts and banquets in Texas as well as numerous states in the United States. He had the honor to perform in many foreign countries such as Vancouver, BC, Wales, England, Romania, Hungary, Germany, Switzerland, Vienna, Salzburg, Poland, Russia and Scotland. He serves as Adjunct Professor of Piano at Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, OK. He maintains a private voice and piano studio at the university. Wade’s versatility and adaptability combine to ensure an inspirational and entertaining program for all audiences. He has produced 9 CD’s and can be seen on YouTube.
Wade is well known and loved in the area. He is a native of Mid-County and graduated from Nederland High School, serving as accompanist for the High School Choir under the direction of Twyla Nau. Wade continued study of music at Lamar University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He, his wife, Becky and daughter, Ashley reside in Bartlesville, OK.
Mr. Daniel served as Minister of Music at FBC Palacios, TX for four years. In 1989 he came to North Orange Baptist Church and served 15 years with Pastor Lynn Ashcraft. While in Orange he directed and toured with the Youth and Senior Adult choirs, directed the Sanctuary Choir, and assisted in other areas of music ministry for children and the Handbell choirs.
