LCM Prose/Poetry Team dominates competition

The LCM UIL Prose/Poetry team dominated the competition again, this time at the Nederland Meet, on Saturday, Jan. 24.

All readers advanced from Prelims to Semi-Finals, and then again from Semi-Finals to the Finals round, the only school to do so. Placing in Poetry Finals were Rebecca Sanford, 1st place, and Mariah Blair, 2nd place. In Prose Finals Triston Stringer took 1st, Connor Alexander was 2nd and Tyler Regan was 4th.

The students are coached by LCM Theatre Director Cory Broom and will compete again at the PNG Meet on Feb. 14.
