BC boys/girls track teams host meet

The Bridge City Cardinal Relays were held Thursday, March 12 at Larry Ward Stadium in Bridge City. The boys team came in first out of 11 teams, scoring 77 points. The girls team came in 5th out of 12 teams, scoring 40 points.

Bridge City boys took 3-5 in the 3200; 3rd- Ruben Valencia 11:02.98, 4th Nick Marcotte 11:22.59, and 5th-Jordan Fontenot 11:31.62. They came in 3rd in the 4 x 100 relay running 44.40. Connor Wilbur came in 3rd in the 110 hurdles 17.00. Edward Doan came in 4th in the 800 running a 2:11.41. They came in 5th in the 4 x 200 meter relay running a 1:39.03. Patrick Morris came in 2nd in the 400 running a 52.53. Connor Wilbur came in 1st in the 300 hurdles running a 41.88. Jordan Fontenot came in 6th in the 1600 running a 5:10.15. Bridge City boys 4 x 400 meter relay did awesome coming in 1st running a 3:36.34 ( Patrick Morris, Connor Wilbur, Edward Doan, Hunter Denton).

Bridge City Girls - Tori Richard came in 6th in the 3200 running a 14:02.34. Lady Cardinals took first in the 4 x 100 meter relay running a 50.69. Mackenzie Murdock came in 4th in the 800 running a 2:38.28. Alexus Henry 3rd in the 100 running a 12.8 and Reyna Owens 4th in the 100 running a 13.13. Alyssa Reza 4th in the 300 hurdles running a 51.13.
