Bandits get away with cash in Dollar Store hold up

Thursday April 2, at 8:54 pm, officers of the Orange Police Department were dispatched to the Dollar General, 3024 N.16th St., in reference to an aggravated robbery.

Upon arrival, officers met with store personnel who advised that two black males wearing hoodies with bandanas over their faces had entered the business displaying handguns and demanding money. The subjects took an undetermined amount of currency from the business and fled on foot from the area.

Officers with OPD and WOPD searched the area for the subjects, but their efforts proved fruitless. The investigation is ongoing by the Orange Police Department.
