Police investigate aggravated robbery

Sunday, April 5, at 9:15 pm, officers of the City of Orange Police Department were dispatched to 6892 Hwy 1130, Food Mart #2, in reference to an aggravated robbery.

Upon arrival, officers met with store personnel who advised a lone black male entered the business and demanded money. The suspect displayed a large knife in a threatening manner and took an undetermined amount of currency from the business. The suspect fled on foot from the area. A search involving officers from Orange Police Department, West Orange Police Department and Orange County Sheriff Department proved fruitless.

The investigation is ongoing by the Orange Police Department.
