LSC-PA honors top ranking students

Lamar State College-Port Arthur recognized 37 honor graduates and several special award winners during its Spring Commencement ceremony on Friday, May 15, at the Carl Parker Center.

Honor graduates who were recognized during the commencement ceremony, listed by hometown, are:

Summa Cum Laude (3.80 to 4.0 grade point average)

Vidor: Laura Lynn Pineda, Commercial Music: Sound Engineer.

Magna Cum Laude (3.65 to 3.79 grade point average)

Bridge City: Chelsea Lynn Phillips, Commercial Music: Sound Engineer and Commercial Music: Performance.

Orange: Ashley Michelle Bunner, Academic Studies.
