Hometown News For Orange County, Texas
Each week The Record Newspapers features a pet, or pets of the week for adoption through local shelters and rescue organizations. This week’s pets are again rescues from Pups in Peril.
This beautiful boy is Kenji and he joined the Pups In Peril crew due to his dad being deployed overseas. Kenji is 10 months old and a Basset Hound mix. He is good with other dogs as well as kids. He is scared of the cat and is completely housebroken. He knows his basic commands and loves to cuddle. He is also crate trained. He is scheduled to be neutered next week and is up to date on his vaccines.
Destiny is a sweet, tiny girl who was bailed out of the pound after a foster stepped up to care for her until her forever home could be found. She looks to be a chihuahua/papillion mix. She has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccines. She was named Destiny because she changed the destiny of two unplanned rescues.
