First United Methodist holds VBS

The First United Methodist Church, 11929 Hwy. 12 at Johnson Rd., Mauriceville, will host a free weekend Vacation Bible School, Friday, July, 17, Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19. Friday night kicks off at 6:00 p.m. with registration, supper, carnival games, music and a special appearance by Malcolm the Magnificent, a Christian illusionist.

Late registration begins Saturday at 9:00a.m. and the program runs from 9:30 to 3:30 and includes lunch and snacks. The closing program is Sunday morning at 11:00a.m. Parents or guardians must register each child. The VBS will be for children ages pre-K to 5th grade.
